WiFi based NMEA 2000 sensor with logging features and much more!

This device is able to use all kinds of different sensors and publish the values on a NMEA 2000 network and all kinds of other cloud services. (MQTT, ThingSpeak, ...)

The software is based on the project ESPEasy and extended to allow sending NMEA 2000 packets. In order for the packets to arrive on the actual NMEA 2000 network a YDWG-02 dongle from Yacht Devices is needed. All setup is web based and pretty straight forward.

The hardware is based on an ESP8266 wifi chip and different sensors can be attached as needed.

The sensor in the picture is being used to measure engine coolant water on an Yanmar J3H4 engine and also the alternator voltage.
